Reanimated

Hm. It's been a long time since I've last posted anything up on this page it looks like. Work and life in general has been pretty busy for the last couple of months, so this site's definitely been placed lower on list. So I'm just dropping in to say hello, and I'm back from the dead.

Speaking of the living dead, I recently started reading the Zombie Survival Guide written by Max Brooks. So far it's a really good read. Maybe by the end of it, I'll be well prepared in case of any zombie infestations.

IF-80's

Howdy! This is my first IF submission, will post more as time goes on! There's some really neat topics and it's good food for thought. Anyway, here's my 80's submission. I grew up watching watching the adventures of Michael Knight and KITT, and anytime I think 80's they're one of the first things to pop into my head. I still remember being super bummed when Goliath crushed KITT in that head on collision/fight.

I was thinking about a video I'd seen on the net with 2 guys sparring. It was fun to watch and this is the result....

...but what, I don't know! I haven't decided yet. Right now it looks like he breaking some layin lines... At any rate, I'll think about that some more, and flesh out the environment some other night. Enjoy.

Here's another sketch. I realized after doing this that those dudes standing at the base of this thing make it look way outta scale. The cannon thingy mounted on it's back leaves much to be desired as well. Oh well, I am happy with the legs though :D

Imaginary Spaces Show

Gallery Nucleus will be having a bigtime group show next month titled Imaginary Spaces. I've been really fortunate to have been invited to participate in this. The show will run from December 16, 2006 - January 8, 2006. The opening reception is from 7pm-11pm.

Over the next week or two I'll be working on my piece for the Imaginary Spaces show, so I'll be posting less in the meantime. If you're in the area, definitely check out the place. They're nice people and they sell neat stuff.
