Happy (belated) New years!
I was thinking about a video I'd seen on the net with 2 guys sparring. It was fun to watch and this is the result....

Breaking stuff...

...but what, I don't know! I haven't decided yet. Right now it looks like he breaking some layin lines... At any rate, I'll think about that some more, and flesh out the environment some other night. Enjoy.

Here's another sketch. I realized after doing this that those dudes standing at the base of this thing make it look way outta scale. The cannon thingy mounted on it's back leaves much to be desired as well. Oh well, I am happy with the legs though :D

Imaginary Spaces Show

Gallery Nucleus will be having a bigtime group show next month titled Imaginary Spaces. I've been really fortunate to have been invited to participate in this. The show will run from December 16, 2006 - January 8, 2006. The opening reception is from 7pm-11pm.

Over the next week or two I'll be working on my piece for the Imaginary Spaces show, so I'll be posting less in the meantime. If you're in the area, definitely check out the place. They're nice people and they sell neat stuff.

Watched Gangs of New York recently, and this study is from one of the movie's stills. Daniel Day Lewis is pretty badass in this movie.

Sketch of a derelict facility. This one's a exploration of a few brushes that I haven't used too much before. I used them to create a little bit of texture in various spots. The sky was fun to just scribble in.
